John G. Ludwig is a man of remarkable vision and extraordinary capability. His relentless determination and insatiable drive to learn have enabled him to achieve significant milestones throughout his life. Driven by a passion to make a meaningful impact, he began his professional journey in BSA Sales in 1995, shortly after graduating from Furman University, where he had been a standout football player. BSA Sales was a third-party technology lead generation company supporting some of the largest names in the industry. Through hard work and dedication, John eventually acquired the company and successfully grew it before selling it to Synnex, the third-largest technology distributor in the United States, in 2001. He often credits his success to the talented and experienced team who played a pivotal role in his achievements.
Recognizing the power of harnessing the energy of skilled individuals, John went on to found SDI Networks, where he emphasized a customer service philosophy summed up as “One Hand to Shake, One Throat to Choke.” This approach positioned SDI Networks as a one-stop solution for all client technology needs, helping the company become the premier technology provider in the Southeast, expanding to seven offices across four states. John owned, operated, and grew the company from 2001 until its sale in 2009.
During this period, he was also deeply involved in humanitarian and social initiatives, earning widespread recognition for his efforts. His dedication to charitable causes not only garnered accolades but also drove positive change for the many organizations and communities he supported.
